Try not to push off the side of the pool with your tail, this will add considerably to wear and tear.<\/p>\n

Try not to stand in your tail in the water, again this will hurt it. (hold on to the side and flap around instead)<\/p>\n

Always wash it out in fresh water before drip drying. (oh\u2026 don\u2019t drip dry over your parents carpet.. towels are good)<\/p>\n

When on the side of the pool sit on a towel or mat, we do not want the bottom to wear and tear. (remember its only swimming costume material)<\/p>\n

Keep tail and fin out of the sun when drying, Pushing off the side of the pool and standing on your tail can damage the fin, please be careful.<\/p>\n

Mermaids and Mermen must be able to swim at least 25 to 50 Meters unaided and without stopping.
\nTread Water in both the shallow and deep end.
\nTurn 360 degrees in the water.
\nBack Float (Star) and transition to Front Float.
\nFront Float transition to Back Float.
\nAble to swim with-out an aid and confident in going under water.
\nConfident demonstrating Breast Stroke Arms and Dolphin legs.
\nAlthough we take a step by step approach to using Mermaid Tails.
