Sit on a flat surface with your Beautiful Mermaid Tail by the side of the pool. Checking there is nothing in that area that could damage the tail as you put it on

Make sure you are by the waters edge so you can slip in easily once you have put it on. Once the tail is placed on the ground in front of you’ll down the tail until you can see the foot pockets. (Like you would roll down tights or socks)

Once the tail skins is Rolled down to the base of the mono fin you will be able to slip your feet into the foot pockets. Place you feet in and wherever necessary dependent on fin tighten and adjust the securing straps

Then roll the tail skin back up your legs to your torso. When you get to pulling the tail skin over your buttocks DO NOT STAND to pull your tail up, we don’t want falls and slips before we go Mermaiding.

Simply lie on your back, checking the area behind you is safe and you can not bang your head.

Mermaid Tails are not for Standing in even for photo opportunities, there are so many other mermaid poses, please see all photos in the gallery. Standing in Mermaid Tails is not Safe.

Mermaids and Mermen must be able to swim at least 25 to 50 Meters unaided and without stopping.
Tread Water in both the shallow and deep end.
Turn 360 degrees in the water.
Back Float (Star) and transition to Front Float.
Front Float transition to Back Float.
Able to swim with-out an aid and confident in going under water.
Confident demonstrating Breast Stroke Arms and Dolphin legs.
Although we take a step by step approach to using Mermaid Tails.
Safe Mermaid Swimming as our main priority.
