Mermaid Experiences
Mermaid Experiences will be held at The Chine Hotel in the summer & some other local pools throughout the Year.
They will include photos in the MERMAGICAL gardens of The Chine Hotel or photos on Bournemouth’s and amazing coastline, “The Home of Mermaids”
We will warm up and introduce you to your Beautiful Tail, including safety and care of the tail and a brief of what your MERMAGICAL experience will involve.
The experience will include an introduction to mermaid swimming, some choreography, swimming for treasures under the water. You will be communicating under the water and swimming alongside Mermaid MerShell at all times.
Mermaid Experiences includes, tuition, tail hire pool hire a few group pictures, certificate and a magical MERMAGICAL experience you will never forget (in the Winter months photos will be taken on poolside).

1:1 and 2:1 Mermaid Experiences
Includes all of what’s included in the Group Mermaid Experience, however having less mermaids and mermen, will give us more time for perfecting moves, photography and a more individual experience.
Photoshoots
All lessons and parties can come with a photo shoot, however for the inexperienced swimmer, if you are too young for a lesson or if you would like to just have your picture taken wearing a beautiful mermaid tail, this is the experience for you. It will be usually held on the beach and during the at a local pool, however during the winter months we use various pools and props to have the best background and surroundings for your pictures.
Dorset’s South Coast offers MERMAGICAL Beaches and the Jurassic Coastline, with some of the prettiest places in the UK to have a Mermaid Photo Shoot. Beach photo shoots start in the Spring months through to October.
Obviously weather permitting.
We will be involved in beach cleans throughout the year, from spring to Autumn this will include a free Picture wearing a Mermaid Tail (weather permitting) We will advertise dates of these on our Facebook page and would love the Mayim Mermaid Pod to get to gather to help protect and preserve our local beaches.
Mermaids & mermen must be able to swim at least 25 to 50 metres unaided and without stopping.
Tread water in both the shallow and deep end.
Turn 360 degrees in the water.
Back float (star) and transition to front float.
Front float transition to back float.
Able to swim with-out an aid and confident in going under water.
Confident demonstrating breast stroke arms and dolphin legs.
Although we take a step by step approach to using mermaid tails.
Safe mermaid swimming as our main priority.
